The 50th Torch Run

Posted: March 5, 2011 in Uncategorized

Immediately prior to the 50th reunion of Youth with a Mission, I got to participate in a torch run.  It was great fun, and went all around the island, celebrating God’s faithfulness with YWAM here.  My leg ended in the town of Volcano, and included running at 5-6,000 feet elevation of Mt. Kileaua.   The air was hard to breathe, so we ended up only

running one mile at a time rather than two, as we expected.  But we still found time to have fun.   For more information about the torch run, see the article on the YWAM website.
